Allegiant Announces Nonstop, Low-cost Jet Service Between Savannah and Fort Lauderdale With Introductory $29.99* Fares

The company, known for its exceptional travel deals, will introduce the new service to the greater Savannah and Hilton Head Island areas with fares as low as $29.99* one-way.

The new flights will operate twice weekly between Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport (SAV) and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL), with service Thursday and Sunday. Flights will depart Savannah/Hilton Head at 11:05 a.m. arriving in Fort Lauderdale at 12:30 p.m. Flights leaving Fort Lauderdale will depart at 9 a.m. arriving in Savannah/Hilton Head at 10:25 a.m. (all flight times are local). The carrier will utilize a full-size, 150-seat MD-80 jet aircraft on the route.

AirTran Airways Returns Scheduled Service to Gulfport/Biloxi, Miss.

/PRNewswirel/ -- AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:AAI) , today announced plans to resume scheduled service from Gulfport/Biloxi, Miss., to the carrier's hub in Atlanta and add new service from Gulfport/Biloxi to Tampa/St. Petersburg, Fla.

This service will begin on Friday, January 8, 2010, and will replace existing charter service to Atlanta. Flights to Atlanta and Tampa/St. Petersburg will operate on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays with the airline's Wi-Fi equipped, Boeing 717.

"We are bringing back our award-winning, high-quality, low-cost service to the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Delta Air Lines Announces New Flights between Atlanta and Brasilia, Brazil, Starting in December

/PRNewswire/ -- Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL) today announced it will begin nonstop service between Atlanta and Brasilia, Brazil on Dec. 17, 2009.*

Delta will be the only U.S. airline to fly nonstop to Brasilia, Brazil's capital city, increasing to six the number of cities served by Delta in the country.

Delta has offered service between Atlanta and Sao Paulo for more than ten years, and has continued expanding throughout the years with nonstop flights between Atlanta and Rio de Janeiro, New York City-JFK and Sao Paulo, Atlanta and Manaus, and a direct one-stop flight connecting Atlanta to Recife and Fortaleza.

On May 21, Delta also will begin nonstop service between Los Angeles and Sao Paulo.

"As Delta continues to grow in Latin America, this new flight to Brasilia becomes a significant step in our expansion given the governmental and diplomatic activity in Brazil's capital," said Jim Cron, Delta's senior vice president of Global Sales and Distribution. Alaska Airlines Inaugurates Anchorage-Maui Service

PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Alaska Airlines today inaugurates seasonal service between Anchorage and Kahului, Hawaii, on the island of Maui. The flights, which operate three days a week, continue through April 25, 2009.

Flights from Anchorage will depart Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 2:20 p.m. Alaska time and arrive at 6:35 p.m. Hawaii time. Return flights will depart Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 8:45 p.m. Hawaii time and arrive at 5 a.m. Alaska time.*
