Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in Savannah

T2F Note: Make no bones about it. Our staff enjoys the wearing of the green on St. Pat's in Savannah. Of course, some of the Fayette Front Page staff has to wear the color orange, but that's ok. No matter what Irish blood flows through your veins, Savannah's celebration of St. Patrick's Day earns the highly coveted Fayette Front Page Day Tripper Award.

Savannah is going green for St. Patrick’s Day! Savannah has been celebrating her Irish heritage for more than a century. Traditional Irish values and customs of the old are mingled with the vibrancy and charm of a city whose quirky personality comes out in both people who call Savannah home and those that are just here to visit. St. Patrick’s Day will be held on Tuesday, March 17, starting the day with the 185th Savannah St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
