Callaway Gardens® Announces Two Dates for Mystery Dinner Theaters in 2011

Building on the sell-out Mystery Dinner Theater in 2010, this year Callaway Gardens is offering two evenings of fun and entertainment, one in May and one in October.

For those who have been missing the fun, a Mystery Dinner Theater includes a little detective work while you dine on delicious cuisine from the Callaway Gardens culinary team led by Executive Chef Joe Malone. Both evenings of mystery will include opportunities for guests to interact with the cast. Before the shows, guests selected just before the show will receive reading parts and will be cued to deliver their award winning performances. Expect a few surprises and activities to add to the fun, and solving the mystery comes with token prizes for the winning team.

“Showdown at Northspoon”

On Saturday, May 21, 2011, guests are invited to join the Sheepling siblings as they learn who will inherit the family ranch, Northspoon. Who successfully met the goal set forth by their deceased relative for the big inheritance? As the deadline nears, there is more drama on the ranch as the moment of truth approaches. Can you figure out “whodunit” before dessert is served?

Would you like some “Scream” with that?
Add a little scare to your October as Halloween approaches. Bring your detective skills and appetite on Friday, October 21, 2011, for a Halloween/Vampire-themed Mystery Dinner Theater. Those not faint of heart will put their own powers of aura perception to the test while interacting with those from days gone by.

Can you identify the guilty parties? Reserve your Mystery Dinner Theater overnight package today by calling 1-800-CALLAWAY (225-5292). Registration is limited, so make your reservation soon.

Callaway Gardens® is in Pine Mountain, Georgia, 60 minutes southwest of Atlanta and 30 minutes north of Columbus. To experience nature at its finest, call 1-800-CALLAWAY or visit www.callawaygardens.com.
