BookIt.com® Gets an Upgrade, Passes It On to Guests

(BUSINESS WIRE)--Travelers have only 99 hours to book during BookIt.com®’s Upgrade Sale – with eye-catching deals like free room upgrades, resort and spa credits, free drinks and more – as the travel provider’s Web site comes back online after an upgrade to newer, faster servers.

Book by 11:59 p.m. EST Wednesday, Aug. 12 and save up to 70 percent off your vacation. A limited number of Upgrade deals are available in top destinations like Las Vegas, Florida, Mexico, the Caribbean, Myrtle Beach and New Orleans, among others.

“We’re excited about the upgrades to our website so we’re passing on incredible deals to our Guests, overlaying upgrades on top of our hottest vacation deals,” said Jesse Henson, Vice President of Marketing for BookIt.com. “Everyone loves an upgrade, and there’s nothing we like more than offering our Guests a win-win vacation deal.”

BookIt.com shut down its Web site overnight Saturday, Aug. 8 for the server upgrade. The Web site is open for business again – just in time for Guests to book travel in the final days of a summer full of outstanding vacation deals as the sluggish economy was expected to translate into 2.2 percent fewer summer leisure trips, according to the U.S. Travel Association.
