Come Out to Zoo Atlanta August 8 and 9

Zoo Expects Up to 16,000 Visitors

City of Atlanta and Fulton County Family Days at Zoo Atlanta offer free admission to residents of the City of Atlanta and Fulton County

Zoo Atlanta will host City of Atlanta and Fulton County Family Days on Saturday, August 8 and Sunday, August 9. On these two dates, guests who can demonstrate residence in or employment by the City of Atlanta or Fulton County government will enjoy free admission for one adult and up to three children per family.

Guests must present I.D. at Zoo Admissions. Recognized forms of identification include a Georgia Driver’s License; State of Georgia-issued voter identification; City of Atlanta employee identification card; Fulton County Government employee identification card; or water, gas or light utility bill.

Zoo officials expect unusually high volume on both dates. Guests are encouraged to arrive early and consider MARTA travel, as parking will be limited.

Saturday, August 8 and Sunday, August 9, 2009
9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; ticket booths close at 4:30 p.m.
