Six Flags Announces Back-to-School Blast National Sweepstakes and Concert Series

/PRNewswire/ -- Six Flags, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: SIXFQ), the world's largest regional theme park company, is celebrating Back-to-School 2009 with the Six Flags Back-to-School Blast featuring a national sweepstakes and an exciting concert series with some of today's hottest talent.

The national Six Flags Back-to-School Blast Sweepstakes runs through September 30. Entrants can register at www.sixflagsbacktoschoolblast.com for a chance to win one of three grand prizes:

-- Ultimate Wardrobe presented by Signature by Levi Strauss & Co.(TM)
inclusive of a new back-to-school denim wardrobe;
-- Ultimate Road Trip presented by got2b inclusive of 25 tickets to the
winner's nearest Six Flags location and got2b styling products;
-- Ultimate Study Break featuring an all-inclusive video gaming package
from Konami Digital Entertainment, featuring such titles as
DanceDanceRevolution : Hottest Party 3, Pro Evolution Soccer 2010,
Karaoke Revolution and Tornado Outbreak.

The sweepstakes is being promoted on sixflags.com and a variety of in-park media assets including Six Flags Television, scrolling signage, billboards and jumbotron networks.

The Back-to-School Blast concert series, sponsored by got2b is the must-see event of the season starring chart-topping recording artists like One Republic, Flo Rida, and Soulja Boy. The series will make stops at the following parks: Six Flags America in Bowie, MD; Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington, TX; Six Flags Fiesta Texas in San Antonio, TX; Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, NJ; Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo, CA; Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, Illinois; Six Flags St. Louis in Eureka, MO and Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom in Louisville, KY. The concerts are free with a Season Pass or park admission.
