Delta Air Lines Announces New Service from New York-JFK to Balmy, Beautiful, Breezy… Bonaire

Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) will turn up the heat this winter with a new nonstop flight between New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport and the sunny island of Bonaire starting Dec. 20, 2008 (subject to foreign government approval).

Known as one of the finest snorkeling and scuba diving destinations, Bonaire is part of the Dutch Caribbean islands off the coast of Venezuela. This new flight complements Delta’s existing flight between Atlanta and Bonaire.

To celebrate the start of the new JFK-Bonaire service, Delta is offering customers a special one-way introductory fare of $239* for travel between Jan. 10 and April 4, 2009. December will be a month of growth for Delta in the Americas region, as it continues expanding internationally with new flights between New York-JFK and Buenos Aires, Argentina** (Dec. 18); Atlanta and Tegucigalpa, Honduras** (Dec. 18); and Atlanta and Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic (Dec. 20).
